Each film coated Lamberts Valerian Tablet contains 300mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L.) (equivalent to 900mg – 1500mg of Valerian Root. These tablets also contain the following excipients in the extract: Maltodextrin & colloidal anhydrous silica.

How does Lamberts Valerian work?

Valerian contains a number of Antioxidants; valerenic acid, isovaleric acid, which are thought to interact with GABA (Gamma-AminoButyric Acid) - the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter that helps encourage a healthy nights sleep, and reduces anxiety.

I'm pregnant, can I take Lamberts Valerian?

No. Lamberts Valerian is not to be used by breastfeeding women or by women during Pregnancy.

Directions of Use

Directions for adults & the elderly:

Swallow Lamberts Valerian Tablets whole with some Mineral Water or other liquid. Do not chew.

As the effects of this product may not occur immediately, the tablets should be taken every day for 2-4 weeks. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.

For mild anxiety: Take one Lamberts Valerian Tablet twice a day.

For sleep disturbances: Take 1-2 Lamberts Valerian Tablets half an hour before bedtime.

Caution:

• Lamberts Valerian are for oral use only.
• Lamberts Valerian is not suitable for those under the age of 18 years.
• Lamberts Valerian is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
• Do not use Lamberts Valerian if you are already taking a medicine for sleep or anxiety
• Lamberts Valerian Tablets are not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Storage:

Do not store Lamberts Valerian above 25°C.

Active ingredient:

Each film coated tablet contains 300mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis L.) (equivalent to 900mg - 1500mg of Valerian Root. Extraction Solvent Ethanol 60% v/v.

Lamberts Valerian also contains the following ingredients:

Excipients in the extract: Maltodextrin, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.
Tablet Core: Maltodextrin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.
Tablet Coating: Hypromellose, Glycerol.
