Dragonfly chamomile is organically grown in Egypt, its spiritual home. The flowers are harvested by hand using a special comb that selects the biggest flowers, leaving the rest to grow on. They are then dried in hot air chambers in just 4 hours to preserve the flavour of the oils, a process that using conventional methods would take several days and allows the flavour to dissipate.

Chamomile has been a significant part of our history for centuries, dating back as far as the Egyptians who dedicated Chamomile to their Gods as a cure for the ague (what we now describe as fever) and the Romans who used it for incense. In the Middle Ages it was used as a “strewn herb” on the floors at public gatherings to help relieve the somewhat fetid, unpleasant atmosphere! It was also one of the Anglo-Saxons nine sacred herbs.

Directions of Use

How: Simply infuse freshly boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes according to taste.
