Thursday Cottage was founded by Hugh and Pam Corbin in 1963 in a cottage of the same name outside Spaxton, Somerset. After being sold on in 2002, the business relocated to Tiptree in Essex and is now led by Chris Newenham, Donna Smith and a small but extremely dedicated production team.

Thursday Cottage make over 120 different jams, curds, marmalades fruit coulis and a host of Christmas products. All of their food is produced in small batches and cooked in open pans. The fresh ingredients are prepared by hand and have a distinctive taste and character, which is little changed from when the company was based in the West Country.
