Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plants (all it needs to grow is sun & water), and unlike trees that take decades to grow, harvests every year. Bamboo doesn’t require replanting after harvest too, because it grows from shoots that are part of its root system.

Are bamboo nappies biodegradable?

Depending on what you read, it is said that while bamboo nappies are indeed biodegradable, they may take between 1-3 months to fully decompose. Bamboo crops do however generate up to 30% more oxygen than trees & other crops do.
