What is turmeric?

Turmeric is nothing if not an auspicious herb, creeping its way into so many aspects of Indian culture, from where it originates. Whilst its association as a curry spice has defined its purpose from East to West for so long, behind this earthy spice are properties that defy scientific expectation still to this day despite being held in high esteem on the Indian sub continent for over 6000 years.

What is turmeric good for?

Turmeric is highly valued as a pigment, a useful poultice and the base to many fine dishes amongst a multitude of uses. However, its most active compound, Curcumin, has many scientifically-proven health benefits. It's recognised as a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may therefore help improve various medical issues.

Directions of Use

Add a quarter to half a teaspoon of AquaSol Instant Turmeric Rhizome Tea to taste, to hot water or any liquid beverage of your choice and stir. Once opened consume within 1 month.
