What is Colief used for?

Colief Infant Drops may help reduce the hours of crying by breaking down the lactose in a baby's usual milk, making it more easily digestible, while Colief Vitamin D3 Drops contribute to the normal development of teeth & bones, and also provides Immune Support. Colief Infant Scalp Oil gently moisturises your baby's kin and scalp, to help soften and clear flakes or scaly skin.

Is Colief safe for newborns?

Colief Infant Drops are suitable to use from birth and can be used whether an infant is breastfed or formula-fed. By 3 to 4 months of age, your baby's signs of colic should have disappeared.

How do I know if my baby has colic?

Infant colic can have many causes. In some cases, it is caused by temporary lactose intolerance. This is when babies are unable to fully break down lactose, a complex sugar in breast milk and infant formula. This can cause discomfort commonly known as colic and characterised by lengthy periods of distressed crying.

Can you use Colief and Infacol together?

In theory, you should be able to use both without any issues, as they do different things. However, it's always recommended to speak to your Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) or GP before you do.
