Their products are packed in 100% biodegradable, non-chlorine bleached paper and card from managed, sustained forests. In addition, all Clipper teabags are made from unbleached paper, so you can feel free to compost both the boxes and bags for your organic veggie plot.
How did Clipper Tea start?
Clipper Tea was founded by two tea fanatics, Mike and Lorraine, back in 1984. They set out to share their love of great tea with a promise of ethical sourcing and natural production. The story began in Dorset, England with two chests of what would go on to become Clipper Fairtrade Organic Assam Loose Tea 125g. This married couple sold to local health food shops and cafes. Today there are over 150 different Clipper products sold in over 50 countries. And while they may have long outgrown the Kitchen, everything Clipper produce still happens in a factory in Beaminster, Dorset.
Is Clipper tea good quality?
Yes we think so. The whole range is Fairtrade and organic certified. This means that those individuals who make Clipper Tea are getting a fair deal and there are no horrid chemicals going into our environment. So, whilst you're doing yourself some good, you're also doing good for others and for the planet too!

Where does Clipper green tea come from?
Most of the Green Tea used in products like Clipper Pure Green Tea 80 Bags, come from tea estates in China and South India with whom Clipper Tea have direct relationships.
