Is Friendly Soap cruelty free?

Yes! Friendly Soap does not contain any animal products or by-products, and has never been tested on animals. Friendly Soaps are registered with Cruelty free International and The Vegan Society too, and their ancient cold-process method means each soap below is totally biodegradable and free from by-products, so there’s literally no waste.

Do the brand use palm oil?

No! Friendly Soaps are free from palm oil. The silky-smooth lather produced by Friendly Soaps is all down to careful ingredient choice and the cold-process method of making them.

What does eco friendly soap mean?

Friendly Soap is a million miles from conventional detergents, as they don’t use any harmful preservatives or foaming agents as there’s really no need for SLS or Parabens. And in terms of energy use, Friendly Soaps pour, cut, stamp and pack their soaps by hand in the UK, so we’re talking lots of calories but a small carbon footprint. Their packaging is pretty special too, because it’s made from materials that are 100% recycled as well as recyclable. Plastic doesn’t get a look in!
